You might be exploring questions like

How many sessions will I need?

The length of the therapy will depend on the type of issues that we explore We will discuss your wishes and goals at the outset and from this we can either agree a set number of sessions, or alternatively we may also decide to work in an open-ended manner.

How often will the sessions be?
We will meet on the same day and time every week. This regularity creates the continuity needed to support progress and maintain momentum in our work together.
How much will it cost?
For psychotherapy and counselling my standard fee is £75.

I also offer a number of concessionary spaces for low-income individuals, subject to availability.

For coaching my fee is discussed on enquiry – I offer both a private and corporate rate.

What happens if I need to cancel a session?
If you need to cancel a session, I ask for at least 48 hours notice. I understand that life can be unpredictable, and while I will do my best to offer flexibility, rescheduling may not always be possible. In such cases, the full session fee will apply.
Who do you work with?
Adults 18+

I welcome and work respectfully with people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, races, cultures, faiths, backgrounds, and lived experiences.

What is the difference between psychotherapy, counselling and coaching?
I am trained both as a psychotherapist and counsellor. The terms psychotherapy and counselling are often used interchangeably, but there are some differences in focus and depth.

Counselling tends to be shorter-term and solution-focused. It covers present-day issues like work stress, relationship problems or a recent bereavement.

Psychotherapy generally goes deeper, exploring underlying patterns, unconscious processes, and long-term emotional difficulties. It addresses the root cause of issues from the past such as childhood trauma, alongside existential questions about loss of meaning.

Coaching tends to be short term and goal orientated and focussed on personal development and performance. My offer is in the field of coaching psychology where I bring in psychological theory and approaches to the work.

When do you offer sessions?
I currently have availability on a Thursday and Friday. Both face to face and online.

I currently have no availability on evenings.

Where can I read testimonials and reviews about you?
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) prohibits using client testimonials in advertising. This is to uphold the fundamental principles of confidentiality, privacy, and the protection of the therapeutic relationship.
